Friday 11th April 2025
You’ll be welcomed with warm smiles and friendly faces as you arrive at the campsite from 5pm on Friday. This is your chance to meet your hosts and fellow adventurers.
As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a delicious group meal around a crackling campfire, followed by an evening of lively entertainment under the stars. Get ready for a night of great company, laughter, and unforgettable memories!
Saturday 12th April 2025
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll set off on an epic guided tour along the Neolithic Trail, winding through ancient sites that echo with the mysteries of the past.
As we explore these prehistoric landmarks, you’ll hear captivating stories, legends, and myths from the local area, bringing history to life. A packed lunch will fuel our journey as we dive deeper into the secrets of the trail.
In the evening, we’ll return to the campsite where you can unwind, surrounded by nature.
Dinner will be a rustic feast, cooked over the campfire in Dutch ovens, followed by indulgent campfire treats. It’s the perfect end to a day steeped in adventure and history!

After breakfast, we’ll set off for an extraordinary visit to the legendary Stonehenge, one of the world’s most awe-inspiring wonders.
As we approach this ancient monument, you’ll feel the energy of its towering stones, shrouded in mystery and history. Take in the breath-taking views, uncover the secrets of this mystical site, and let its magic leave a lasting impression.
By midday, we’ll bid farewell to this epic journey, taking home memories of an unforgettable experience!
What to knowabout the stonehenge walking holiday
getting to stonehenge
Stonehenge is located in Wiltshire, England, about 8 miles (13 km) north of Salisbury. It sits on Salisbury Plain, a vast, open landscape that has been home to many ancient monuments.
If you’re planning a visit, the nearest major road is the A303, and the closest train station is in Salisbury, from where you can take a bus or taxi to the site.
Railway: The nearest railway station is in Salisbury, making it convenient for those traveling by train. The station is around 13-mile taxi ride from the campsite.
Bus: The campsite is 5 minutes’ walk from bus Route 2.
Car: The campsite is approximately 13 miles from both Salisbury and Devizes.

Where will we be staying?
Accommodation Information
We will be staying in a campsite a short distance from Stonehenge itself. Your accommodation will be in spacious 3 person tents. We will issue one tent per person unless you have elected to share with a friend/partner. We will be providing a ground matt.
We ask you to bring your own sleeping bag. Feel free to bring a pillow and extra blankets and thermals as we can not guarantee the weather,.
Campsite facilities
Campsite: Shower and toilets. These are checked regularly and deep cleaned daily to ensure they are kept to the highest standard
Laundry room: Consisting of a coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a large sink for handwashing
Connectivity: Free WIFI

- If you have any COVID symptoms, please do not attend.
- We take photos during our walks for promotional and training purposes. If you prefer not to be included, just let us know on the day.
- Cancellation policy states: Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your walking holiday within 60 days of the start date, the full balance is payable and no refund will be issued. Cancellations made between 60 and 90 days before the start date will receive a 50% refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit. For cancellations made more than 90 days in advance, you will receive a full refund of any payments made, minus the deposit.
