We're passionateabout sharing our experience

As a group of outdoor lovers who are passionate about getting people outdoors, we not only organise walks but also offer other inspiring outdoor events to give you a true taste of the great outdoors.

Our leaders are not just walking leaders, but also passionate about sharing our love of bushcraft, foraging and navigation giving you the confidence in exploring the great British countryside in a fun and engaging environment.

Join us as we explore the outdoors in more depth and learn skills that will remain with you for a lifetime. It is surprising how these learnt skills will soon become part of your everyday life.

What sort of thingwill you be doing

Navigation

Have you ever wanted to know exactly where you are and which way you need to go?

With one of our navigation courses you will learn to read a map and translate that to the environment around you. Be able to pick up a compass and know it is pointing in the right direction to get you to your chosen location.

Be it your car, your accommodation or a welcoming pub, you will gain the knowledge to be able to confidently get where you’re going in no time, without relying on a dying phone battery (which you wish to preserve for taking those memorable pictures) and an unreliable GPS.

Foraging

Ever walked through the countryside and just seen different shades of green?

When you start on the pathway of foraging those shades of green turn into recognisable plants and fungi with a multitude of uses be it food, medicinal or ones that could cause you serious harm.

With our Foraging experiences, we are here to help you to start to recognise which one is which ones are which.

We won’t promise that at the end of the course you will be an expert, but what we do guarantee is that once you have started to recognise several species you will be hooked and be able to slowly grow your confidence in expanding your own catalogue to what’s under your feet.

Bushcraft

We have been spent a lifetime playing, exploring and teaching bushcraft in many forms.

We know how simple bushcraft can go a long way in expanding your knowledge of not only the art of bushcraft but also identifying the plants and trees that make this possible.

Be it lighting a fire using the natural ingredients around you, building shelters or erecting tarps and hammocks to keep you warm and dry, cooking delicious meals over a fire, as well as crafting camp gadgets to make your experience fulfilling and enjoyable.

Joining one of our bushcraft events will give you the basic skills to take you down the endless rabbit hole that you will never want to leave.

Camping Adventures

There is nothing better than waking up in a secluded area.

Waking up to the sounds of nature or spending the evening under a canopy of stars. With Boots On Adventures nearly all your equipment is included.

Whether you are stretched out in a spacious bell or dome tent, swinging between the trees in a hammock or laying around the campfire in a bivvie bag, we have you covered.

With meals prepared in front of you, cooked over open fires in traditional Dutch ovens all you need to do is soak in the atmosphere and enjoy a highly memorable adventure.
