A quick intro
This circular walk takes us up onto the Greensand Way, where breathtaking views across the Kent countryside await. From the ridge, the route loops around to pass the picturesque 14th-century Wickhurst Manor before continuing through the charming village of Sevenoaks Weald. We’ll then cross a patchwork of rolling farmland and peaceful countryside paths before gently making our way back to the starting point.
A perfect balance of history, scenery, and classic Kent landscapes, this walk offers plenty of variety and interest along the way.

- We welcome friendly dogs on our walks, provided they remain on a lead at all times. The owner is fully responsible for their dog throughout the walk.
- We take photos during our walks for promotional and training purposes. If you prefer not to be included, just let us know on the day.
- Cancellation policy states: Full payment becomes due if a user cancels within 4 days of the activity. Any person cancelling outside of 4 days, will receive a credit available to use within 90 days. Cancel at least 4 days before the event to receive a credit note for a future walk, valid for 90 days.

Starting from Bore Place, this circular walk leads us along farm tracks and bridleways before climbing steadily up onto the Greensand Way. The reward is a stretch of breathtaking views across the Weald of Kent from one of the highest ridges in the area, with glimpses of Bough Beech Reservoir glinting in the distance.
From here, the route meanders through Stubbs Wood, where silver birch, sweet chestnut, and oak trees thrive, and where autumn often brings chestnuts, fungi, and colourful woodland scenes. Look out for woodpeckers, wild animal tracks, and, in summer, basking lizards on sunny banks.
The path continues past the picturesque 14th-century Wickhurst Manor and into the welcoming village of Sevenoaks Weald, before looping back across a patchwork of rolling farmland and quiet fields. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a mix of shady woodland trails, historic landmarks, and wide open countryside before returning to Bore Place.
This route offers a true taste of Kent’s varied landscapes: farmland, woodland, history, and ridge-top views, all in one circular walk.
